Each day when I awaken life seems darker and less easy to navigate. Black holes are lonely and they seem endless. But still, I awaken. Oh, if only I could sleep my life away until heaven.But, I cannot.
I have a Redeemer who casts life and light where there is none. He is my hope. No more hoping in this or that. My hope is IN HIM.
He holds me, comforts me and knows my frame. In HIM I place my trust.
Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, On those who hope for His lovingkindness. Psalms 33:18
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand; and we exult in hope of the glory of God. And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
